3-Score Reviews: Thor
Unmistakably a fantasy adventure film. I didn’t expect to enjoy this as much as I did. The mythical Asgard and its lore never feels tacky and the story of Thor is very absorbing. Earth and Natalie Portman’s character provides essential empathy to counter the fantastical portrayal of the Norse Gods. However, the key antagonist seems to come out of nowhere.
